PTO Event Descriptions

Support the PTO-sponsored events for the benefit of Riley's students (your children!) by leading or participating in a PTO commitee. There are many events where you can contribute to the sucess of PTO events.

Joining the PTO

All Riley families are encouraged to participate Riley's very active PTO. Watch for information about the exciting programs that the PTO has planned for the children. The PTO is proud to offer a number of Cultural Arts assemblies during the school year. An ice cream social and a fun fair are scheduled during the school year. These events are always well attended and are a wonderful way warm day or evening.

Fund-Raising

Target and "School Fundraising Made Easy"
Riley's PTO thanks all the Riley families who have designated our school to receive the school donation through the "School Fundraising Made Easy" program. Target donates 1% of all purchases made with the Target Guest Card. You can apply to participate in this program by submitting a completed Target Guest Card application to your local Target store.You may also register online at Target. Be sure to designate JW Riley School on the form in order for our school to receive donations through the program. If you already have a Target Guest Card, simply call 1-800-316-6142.

General Mills Box Tops
Please remember to save all General Mill Box Tops. These box tops will earn money for Riley. Products such as V8, Pepperidge Farm breads, croutons, crackers, and snack mixes are all eligible products. Box tops should be deposited in the General Mills cereal box found in each classroom. Please turn in only the actual Box Tops for Education coupon found on the top of each General Mills' cereal or snack box. Students in the two classrooms that collect the most box tops per student will be treated to something special in the spring. Winners will be announced in mid-April. Remember to clip and save to help Riley children The Riley PTO thanks everyone who participates.
