you are proposing.
1. Give the holiday an informative or interesting name and decide when it should
be celebrated.
2. Explain why this holiday is celebrated. Develop an interesting purpose or
a historical reason for the celebration.
3. Describe what people do to celebrate the holiday. What events take place?
4. What are the symbols that are part of the holiday? (colors, songs, poems,
stories, or objects like a heart for Valentines Day or a shamrock for
